OBJECTIVES OF THE PILOT PROJECT
• The primary objective was to conduct a Pilot Project to develop, test, and refine a critical component that is essential to the NTHMP Educational Program – i.e., a curriculum for Community-specific Tsunami Public Education Workshops. The Shoalwater Bay Tribe in Pacific County, WA, hosted a Community-specific Tsunami Public Education Workshop, with participants that included officials and residents of both the Tribe and the neighboring communities of Tokeland and North Cove, WA.
