I am tired of hearing about Westchester schools.

I am tired of people thinking students in the South Bronx can’t do it.

Tired of hearing, that I’m wasting my time teaching here.

Because on the first day of school…

I met each of you.

And I realized how wrong the world was.

Teaching all of you has been the greatest privilege of my life.

And it may be corny. And cheesy.

But to me…you are the world’s greatest.

But enough of this sentimental stuff.

Let’s get down to business.

Let’s take a look at what you’ve accomplished this year.

Ok, well maybe not that...

But now it’s time to get ready for the test.

It’s time to put your game face on.
