Teacher
This is the only A from this class for this project! You have done a really nice job at displaying that you learned new things that not only involve nutrition but also mathematics! Nice work!

DIET AFFECTS ON THE BODY “Low calorie dieting slows your metabolism making it

progressively more difficult to lose weight and keep it off.” “Dieting fails due to a combination of hormonal changes,

muscle loss, and flat out frustration.” “If the dieter persists long enough with the self-imposed

famine, the body begins to break down muscle tissue for fuel.” “When that protein is broken down it releases nitrogen. Your

body will quickly wash away the nitrogen by releasing water from tissue cells, causing an immediate reduction in water weight and a noticeable drop on the scale.

“The water weight will be quickly regained as soon as you have something to drink, and the missing muscle havoc on your metabolism for a long good time” (Amber).

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED FROM MY COMPARISON From my excel graph I have learned that the

calories, total fat, cholesterol, sodium, carbohydrates, and protein that is in the food I eat everyday is more than my recommended amount.

So this means I need to change my diet by eating healthier.

EXERCISE PLAN My Linear Equation for my exercise plan is

y=13+3x 13 Represents the total number of calories

burned when I stretch for 5 minutes. 3 Represents the total number of calories

burned when I walk the dog for 1 minute. X represents the number of minutes I need to

walk the dog.

WAYS TO BECOME A HEALTHIER HUMAN Drinking water Do whole-body exercises Eat whole grains No junk food Eat recommended amounts of food so that I

don overeat
