ThisGreenSchoolsinitiativeisaimedatchangingthebehaviourof5-16yearoldsforthebetter,makingthemgreenerconsumersbychangingthewaytheythinktowardsthreekeyareas:healthyeating,savingwaterandconservingenergy.

Fromanidentitylevel,thechallengehasbeentocreatealookandfeelthatappealstofirstly,abroadrangeofchildrenfrom7-16,secondly,appealtoteachers,thirdly,parentsandfinally,ensureTheCo-operativebrandingmaintainsalevelofconsistencyacrossallcommunications.

Continuing to help combat third world debt

ForsocialmediaweproducedaFacebookpluginthatdrawsalloftheGlobalPovertyFacebookaccount’spoststotheRHSbar.WealsoproducedatwitterbannerthatdirectstotheGlobalPovertytwitterpage.

HowevertheshowpieceofthedevelopmentwasthehardcodingoftheblogrollandFacebookcomments.ThisallowedTheCo-operativetopostitsownblogsandforreaderstoleavecommentsthatspreadthewordontheirpersonalFacebookaccounts.
