We have designated Richard A “Curly” Puckett to receive the Hiram Award. The presentation will be given on the 9th of November with dinner prior to the ceremony. We extend congratulations to him for the extra work he has done as member.
We will be voting on a petition this month and with a possible 1st degree conferral on the 19th of October.
On Friday, Oct. 13 – the first evening of Annual Communication – the new feature documentary “The Royal Art of Freemasonry” will premiere at the California Masonic Memorial Temple in San Francisco.
Written and directed by Bro. Johnny Royal and produced by Bro. Robert Doan, this gorgeous and highly enticing feature length documentary is noted as the first film to fully examine the entire American Masonic structure, providing insight from prominent members of the Masonic brotherhood about the purpose and meaning of the rituals, why people join, the unique culture of the Masonic fraternity, and where the future of the ancient society is headed.
The film provides a behind-the-scenes perspective of Masons’ path to enlightenment, as Freemasons from across the country share their personal experiences within the fraternity and the ultimate overarching narratives of their own “hero’s quests.” Through poignant interviews and beautiful photography, the film highlights the worldwide legacy of Freemasons and their place in the world around them.
“What begins to surface is a realization that Masons choose be the heroes or villains of our own lives, based on the choices we make,” says Royal. “Freemasonry truly is a progressive moral science.”On Friday, Oct. 13 – the first evening of Annual Communication – the new feature documentary “The Royal Art of Freemasonry” will premiere at the California Masonic Memorial Temple in San Francisco.
