Erin and Ryan… Erin, I understand you and Ryan met on a jobsite? Yes, I am an architect and Ryan was a general contractor on one of my projects. Over time, he began little hints of fl irtation in emails….the rest is history!

How did he propose? We were in the process of moving and had come to the house one night to paint. He was just acting weird!! Finally….he got down on one knee and gave me a small palm tree…our fi rst date had been at the Palm restaurant. Then, he proposed. It was perfect. Just us, nothing fancy.

I love your colors! How did you select them?I really, really love simple white with pops of color. I love hot pink and I love whimsical things, as well.

What about something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue?My grandmother’s pearls (which I had borrowed from my sister) were on my bouquet and I wore a blue garter. Everything else was new!

Please tell us about your fabulous wedding gown.It was relatively simple, but I loved it! It was drop waist strapless gown with ruching on the side and a fun fl ower attached. I had an ostrich feather in my hair and wore fuchsia heels!

Any fun memories…Well , you know that we had goldfi sh at the wedding…
