“Prevention of Medical Errors in Dentistry”

This a required 2 CE course for licensure. The lecture will discuss

recent cases and methods to improve your practice.

Dr. Robinson was born March 29, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from

Chamberlain High School in Tampa, FL. He received his B.A. From the University

of South Florida and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee Col-

lege of Dentistry where he was elected by the faculty to Omicron Kappa Upsilon

and the R.D.Dean Honorary Odontological Society. He was licensed to practice in

1970. He is married to Cynthia and together they have six children and eleven

grand children.

Dr. Robinson is past President of the Hillsborough County Dental Association,

served in the Florida Dental Association House of Delegates and Board of Trus-

tees and was the first General Meeting Chair of the FNDC. He was presented with

GDA Medal and honored on two occasions with the FDA Service award. He has

received the Distinguished Service Award from The WCDA and the Life Achieve-

ment Award of the HCDA. Dr. Robinson is a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Acad-

emy, Fellow of the American College of Dentists, and a Fellow of the International

College of Dentists. He served as Chair of the Florida Board of Dentistry. He has

given over 150 lectures to various Dental Societies and Colleges. As Chair of the

Ethics Committee of the American College he contributed to “An Ethics Handbook

for Dentists.” Dr. Robinson served as Deputy Regent and International Counselor

of the International College of Dentists.

He was in-House expert for the Florida Agency of Healthcare Administration for

over a year. He has presented Training sessions to AHCA Inverstigators and DOH

Staff.

Dr. Robinson was selected nationally by the American Association of Dental

Boards as a Member of the ADA Council on Dental Education and Licensure. He

graduated from the FBI Citizens Academy and is an Honorary Deputy Sheriff. Re-

cently he was presented a Certificate of Appreciation from the Attorney General

Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. At the present time he serves as Commissioner on

the Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations. (JCNDE)

This meeting will be held at Grasslands Golf & Country Club located at 1600 Grasslands Blvd, Lake-

land. Happy Hour begins @ 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will start @ 7
