Oneida is one of the biggest tribes in USA and is very important because one of the groups that were in the Iroquois Confederacy, that we will talk later about it. We are going to tell about culture and how Oneidas changed when the Europeans settle their lands. We hope all of us can learn a lot about them.

Our group learned very much about the Oneida tribe and we discover that they are very talented people that changed many culture of the USA. We were very surprised when we find out how Europeans make them change all their culture. We liked and enjoyed to study about them and we hope you have enjoy our presentation, too.

Oneida comes from their own tribe word, Onyota’aka, which means “People of the standing stone” .
