HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS?

ANKSHITI (TEXT TO SPEECH CONVERTER)

• Ankshiti is a computer-based system that should be able to read any text aloud, whether it was directly introduced in the computer by an operator or scanned and submitted to an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) system

• This module (Ankshiti) aims at the development of the software for those people who are physically handicapped and disabilities such as traumatic brain injury, autism, dyslexia and other disabilities that impact reading proficiency

APPROACHES

• Dictionary Based - where a large dictionary containing all the words of a language and their correct pronunciations is stored by the program.

• Rule Based - in which pronunciation rules are applied to words to determine their pronunciations based on their spellings.

SMS API

• The main objective of this module is send result of the appeared candidate via SMS so that he can kept it for future assistance as the result appeared onscreen after exam it for one or two minutes only .

• Secondary purpose of this module is to make our system more user friendly as SMS service is quite popular in youth nowadays.

HOW IT WORKS?

• As soon as the candidate finishes the exam, the result reached to his proctor and the candidate mobiles via SMS.

• The message content has the name of candidate, secured percentage, eligible or not.

ATTENDANCE REGISTER CUM PROCTOR DAIRY

• This module of our project is basically meant for keeping log of attendance of all members of an educational institute or any organization for future assistance(as its scope is not limited to this project only).

• This module is included in this project as it maintains every single information about student. It’ll help to sort out students on some pre-specified criteria e.g. students with low attendance.
