...several complete encyclopedias...
...and other poweful resources...
...endless web 2.0 pages...
...not to mention the...
...in the hands of people...
...with experience...
...in orchestrating resources...
...could create...
...new learning paths towards...
...new outcomes...
...requiring nothing...
... but time...
...with an occasional...
...nudge...
...towards sustainability...
...in the learning economy.
So... before you go...
...lets recap...
...learning is getting...
...really expensive...
...outpacing even...
...healthcare...
...and in the new economy...
...everyone (independent of age)...
...needs to learn...
...continuously...
...as in "without stopping"...
...meaning that...
... the cost of learning...
...will have to drop (really drop)...
...just like it happened in...
...other industries...
...which tapped the vast...
...(and growing) web resources...
...to offer a complete new picture...
...in record time...
...and thus...
... you need to get ready...
...for the new world of...
...open learning...
...able to offer...
...many alternatives...
...to the same...
...outcome...
...most (if not all) toll free...
...because revenue...
...will move towards...
...the certification side...
...the learner's gate...
...towards a world...
...in which ideas...
...are worth money.
The amazing part...
...of open learning...
...is that it allows learning...
...with no human left behind...
...because it shifts...
...the cost point...
...pretty amazing...
...don't you think?
