PRIORTOTHEOPERATIONThetoolisintendedtobeoperatedasahandheldtool.Itisalwaysrecommendedthatwhileusingthetooloperatorsstandonasolidfloorinasecurepositionwithafirmgripandfooting.Beawarethatthesandercandevelopatorquereaction.Seethesection“SAFETYPRECAUTIONS”.

Useacleanlubricatedairsupplythatwillgiveameasuredairpressureatthetoolof6.2bar(90psig)whenthetoolisrunningwiththeleverfullydepressed.Itisrecommendedtouseanapproved�0mm(3/8in)x8m(25ft)maximumlengthairline.ConnectthetooltotheairsupplyasshowninFigure�.Donotconnectthetooltotheairlinesystemwithoutaneasilyaccessibleairshutoffvalve.Itisstronglyrecommendedthatanairfilterregulatorandlubricator(FRL)beused,asshowninFigure�,asthiswillsupplycleanlubricatedairatthecorrectpressuretothetool.Inanycaseappropriateairpressureregulatorsshallbeusedatalltimeswhileoperatingthistoolwherethesupplypressureexceedsthemarkedmaximumofthetool.Detailsofsuchequipmentcanbeobtainedforyourtooldistribu-tor.Ifsuchequipmentisnotusedthetoolshouldbemanuallylubricated.Tomanuallylubricatethetooldisconnecttheairlineandput2to3dropsofsuitablepneumaticmotorlubricatingoilsuchas3M™AirToolLubricantPN20�5�,FujiKosanFK-20orMobilALMO525intothehoseend(inlet)ofthetool.Reconnecttooltotheairsupplyandruntoolslowlyforafewsecondstoallowairtocirculatetheoil.Ifthetoolisusedfrequently,lubricateitonadailybasisorlubricateitifthetoolstartstosloworlosepower.Itisrecommendedthattheairpressureatthetoolbe6.2bar(90psig)whilethetoolisrunningsothemaximumRPMisnotexceeded.Thetoolcanberunatlowerpressuresbutshouldneverberunhigherthan6.2bar(90psig).Ifrunatlowerpressuretheperformanceofthetoolisreduced.
