IntroductionHundreds of Hemodialysis centres have opened in the country. These require

utrasound support.

Mapping for hemodialysis fistula creation and assessment of the hemodialysis

fistula are the most challenging past of Peripheral Doppler examinations, and are

new areas.

This course is meant to teach Mapping for hemodialysis fistula creation and

assessment of the hemodialysis fistula through lectures and supervised hands - on

training.

This will enable the participants to do mapping for hemodialysis fistula creation

and assessment of the hemodialysis fistula in their clinical practice and help in

promoting referrals in their ultrasound practice on this subject.

Course StructureThe course will be run for 1 day. The day will start with lectures and case studies

Reporting methodology will be taught to the candidates.

At the completion of this course, participants should be able to get started with

mapping for hemodialysis fistula creation and assessment of the hemodialysis

fistula in their clinical practice and report the examination.

Hands on contentHands on will be done on cases

Target AudienceThis course is designed to meet the needs of Radiologists who are well versed in

routine ultrasound scanning and want to learn hemodialysis ultrasound.
