LOWSTRAINPILEINTEGRITYTESTING(PIT)Lowstrainintegritytestusespulseechoortransientresponse
methodsto;
· Revealspotentialshaftorpiledefectssuchasmajorcracks,
 necking,soilinclusionsorvoids
· Maydetermineunknownpilelengths
Weperformthisfoundationintegritytestinaccordance
withASTMD5882-07–StandardTestMethodforLowStrain
IntegrityTesting
DYNAMICPILETESTING(PDA)Highstraindynamicloadtestusesformostcommontypesof
deepfoundations.PDAprovidesfollowingadvantages.
· Fast,reliableandcosteffective
· Calculatebearingcapacityandassessstructuralintegrity
· Assessdrivingstressandhammerperformance
WeanalyzethemeasurementsinrealtimeusingthePileDriving
Analyzery(PDA).Dataacquiredinthefieldisfurtheranalyzed
withtheCAPWAPysoftware.
CROSSHOLESONICLOGGING(CSL)TESTEvaluationofconcretequalityindeepfoundations
· Assesstheconcretequalityandconsistencyofdrilledshafts,
 slurrywalls,boredpiles,cast–in-situpilesandothertypes
 ofconcretefoundations.
· FieldresultsarecomplementedbyTomographyanalysis
INCLINOMETERINSTALLATIONANDMONITORING
Inclinometercanbeusedtodetectlateralmovementofsoilor
retainingstructure(D-Wallorsheetpilewall)toensurethat
adjacentstructureshavenotbeendamagedbyground
movements.Inclinometercasingwillbepermanentlyinstalled
inaboreholethatpassesthroughsuspectedzonesof
movement.
STATICLOADTESTING(MLT)
Thestaticloadtest(MLT)involvesthedirectmeasurementof
pileheaddisplacementintheresponsetoaphysicallyapplied
testload.Itisthemostfundamentalformofpileloadtestandis
consideredasthebenchmarkofpileperformance.
INSTRUMENTLOADTEST(IMLT)
Instrumentedstaticpileloadtestsareconductedtodetermine
thesoilparametersinordertoverifyandoptimizethedesignof
thefoundationforastructure.
PLATELOADTEST(PLT)
PlateLoadTestisafieldtestfordeterminingtheultimate
bearingcapacityofsoilandthelikelysettlementunderagiven
load.ThePlateLoadTestbasicallyconsistsofloadingasteel
plateplacedonthefoundationlevelandrecordingthe
settlementscorrespondingtoeachloadincrement.Thistestis
coveredbyCP2001:1957,ASTMD1194-72andBS5930:1981.
LATERALLOADTEST(LLT)
Whenperforminglateralloadtestsondeepfoundations,itis
desirabletoobtainhorizontaldisplacementversusdepth
profiles.
