Week 5: Day 29 John 3:16-18
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to
save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
Thank you, Loving Father, for sending Jesus, your one and only Son, who has saved us from our sins. Thank you for the promise of eternal life when we believe in Him. Thank you that Jesus came to save the world and
does not condemn us. Please, would you forgive …………….. (lost) for their pride, arrogance and disbelief about who Jesus is and what he has done for us. By doing this, they have condemned themselves. Lord God
we know that this is not your will for them, because you sent Jesus to save them. Would you continue to love on them with your great, great love? Would you surround them with people who will love them enough to share the gospel with them? May your love penetrate their hearts, minds and souls. May they have ears to
hear and hearts that respond to the truth of Jesus, so that they might believe in Jesus and not perish but have eternal life.
Loving Father, May …………. (found), those at ……...…. (church) and I walk in the freedom that believing in Jesus brings us. We are no longer under condemnation but under your grace. Help us to understand this to a greater level. Help us to grow in our understanding of how high, how long, how wide and how deep your love is. May the Holy Spirit, reveal your Word to us, through the lens of love. May this love, motivate us to reach out to those around us and share the goodness of God with them, for we do not want them to perish or be condemned. We want them to join us in eternity, in fellowship with you Father and with Jesus and the Holy
Spirit. Amen

Week 5: Day 31 John 7: 37 -38
37 On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, ‘Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of
living water will flow from within them. 39 By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive.
Thank you Jesus, that you invite us to come to you when we are spiritually thirsty. Thank you for the promise that you will not only quench our thirst with your life-giving water of the Holy Spirit,
but we will become rivers of life to those around us. Jesus, I pray for ………………… (lost), because at the moment, they don’t appear to be thirsty for you or for your generous and gracious offer of salvation. Loving Jesus, would you please break through the lies of this world that promise to
satisfy our loved ones with things that do not satisfy. Help …………… (lost) to realise just how thirsty they are for you and to say yes to your invitation to come and drink of your living water. Surround them with your Holy Spirit and with your friends who are filled with your Spirit, so they can share
the salvation message with them.
Life Giving Jesus, I ask that ………………… (found), all the people at ….............(church) and I would come to you regularly to quench our thirst. May we come to you in prayer, in thanksgiving, in
worship, through fellowship, when we read your word and in every area of our daily lives. May our thirst for you and your truth be great. Would you cause this great river of life, which is from
the Holy Spirit, to flow out of us watering this nation for you, Jesus. Amen

Week 5: Day 33 Romans 8:35-39
35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? ….]37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither
angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.
Thank you Jesus, that nothing can separate us from your love. Loving Father, …………… (lost), are separated from your great love because they do not know Jesus, either because they have chosen to
reject your offer of salvation, or because they have not heard the good news of your love. Please forgive them for the choices they have made that have led them to turn away from Jesus. Would you
please continue to reach out to them with your great love, extending your hand of mercy to them. May they have hearts that are open to your love and ears that are open to your message of salvation. I pray that …………. (Lost) will one day declare that nothing can separate them from the love of God that is in
Christ Jesus our Lord.
Loving Father, may ……………, all those at ……….. (church) and I continue to make choices to follow you and to call upon your name. May the thoughts that we have that would lead us away from your love and into sin, be captured up in your great love. May we choose Jesus and his way of love and truth always, no matter what situation we find ourselves in. May we find strength in the love of Jesus, to conqueror every hardship we may face. I declare that nothing can separate me/us from the love of
God that is in Christ Jesus. Amen

Week 5: Day 35 Hebrews 7:24-26
24 but because Jesus lives for ever, he has a permanent priesthood.25 Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
26 Such a high priest truly meets our need – one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens.
Thank you, Jesus, that you are holy, blameless, set apart from sinners (because you did not sin),
exalted in the heavens and our High Priest forever. Thank you that you continue to intercede for us. Jesus, as High Priest, you are interceding for …………. (lost) right now. What a wonderful thought.
Reveal yourself to them through your Holy Spirit. Reach out to them today with your truth and your love. Surround them with your goodness. Bring light into the dark areas of their lives. Please
continue to put your faithful friends around them to pray for them, love them and tell them about you. Thank you, Jesus, that you can completely save ………… (lost). They are not too hard for you to
redeem.
Jesus, as High Priest, you are interceding for …………… (found), me, all at ……….. (church) and for every situation we face. That is an amazing and comforting truth. Please help each one of us to come to you and listen to your Holy Spirit so that we might know your way, your salvation and your wisdom. Not
only do you intercede for us, Jesus, but you invite us who believe in you, to partner with you in prayer and intercession. This is what we are doing as we pray for those who do not know you yet, (the lost) and for those who do know you, (the found). Thank you, King Jesus, for this privilege of partnering
with you in intercession. Amen

Week 5: Day 30 Romans 3:22 -24
22 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of
God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
Thank you Gracious Father, that when we put our faith in Jesus, we are made righteous in your eyes. Would you bless …………… (lost) with the faith they need to believe in Jesus. They are not
“bad people”, but your word tells us that all have sinned and fallen short of your glory. Would you please help them (lost) to acknowledge their sin and need of Jesus. May they repent from their
unrighteous ways and in doing this, may they receive the grace and mercy that is freely offered to them through our Lord and Saviour, Christ Jesus.
Righteous Father, may …………….. (found), all those at ……….. (church) and I walk in the knowledge
that all our sins have been forgiven. We are your righteous children, who are justified and fully redeemed through our faith in Jesus, our Lord and Saviour. May this knowledge be a strong
foundation in our lives, causing us to turn away from all unrighteousness. Give us the discernment to recognise the lies of the enemy and to resist the temptation to sin. Help us to have humility in
this and not be judgemental of those who have not yet experienced this grace. May we, your children, with the help of the Holy Spirit, bring glory to your name and the name of Jesus. Amen

Week 5: Day 32 Roman 10:9-13
9 if you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, ‘Anyone who believes in him will
never be put to shame. 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile – the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
Thank you Lord Jesus, that salvation comes when we believe with our hearts and confess with our mouths that you are Lord and that God raised you from the dead. Thank you, that this salvation is for anyone who calls on your name. Lord Jesus, out of your loving kindness would you reveal yourself to ……………….. (lost), so that they may call on your wonderful name. May they believe and declare that you are the Son of God,
that you paid for their sins and that you were raised from the dead, so that they may have life and have it to the full. Thank you, that it is your desire to richly bless them with salvation when they call on the name of
Jesus.
Lord Jesus, our Redeemer and Saviour, how wonderful it is to declare “Jesus is Lord” and to know that our Father in Heaven raised you from the dead. Thankyou for this privilege. Help ………………. (found), me and all those at ………….(church) to believe you and the one who sent you, more and more. Please forgive us when we let doubt rob us of our faith in who you are and the victory you accomplished on the cross, Lord Jesus. May we be bold in declaring your goodness, your saving grace and your victory, even when we don’t see it or feel it at the time. Whatever the circumstances we find ourselves in, may we be quick to call upon the
name of the Lord, for we will see your salvation come. Amen

Week 5: Day 34 Titus 3:3-7
3 At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and love of God our Saviour
appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our
Saviour, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
Merciful God, thank you that you have not only saved us from the way we lived before your revealed Jesus to us, but you have also generously poured out your Holy Spirit on us, giving us a new life and renewing a right relationship with you.
Gracious Father, while I was foolish, disobedient and enslaved in the things of this world, you reached out to me with your loving kindness through Jesus Christ my Saviour. Would you please also reach out to …………………… (lost), generously
pouring out your Holy Spirit on them, opening their eyes and ears and softening their hearts, so that they might know your love, truth, mercy and grace. May they repent of their foolishness, their disobedience and their other sinful ways. May
they be baptised in water and then with your Spirit so that all their sins would be washed away. May they become heirs with Jesus, having access to all God’s promises, including the hope of eternal life.
Wonderful Father, thank you for this scripture, as it reminds me of your unfailing love and amazing grace that you extended to me and continue to extend to me. You have given me a new life in Jesus. You have healed me, protected me and guided me. You have taught me your ways. You continue to reveal your Word to me through the Holy Spirit of Truth. You fill my life with your goodness every day and in every way. You forgive all my sins. You have made me a joint heir with
Jesus to all your promises. You have given me gifts with a generosity that knows no end. You have asked me to partner with you in reaching those who do not know you yet. The list could go on and on as I testify about your goodness. Not only
have you done this for me, but you have also done it for ………………. (found) and for my brothers and sisters at ……………. (church). We are incredibly blessed. Help us to boldly share your goodness with those you destine to cross our paths.
Thank you, Wonderful Father, for your great, great love. Amen
Week 5: Words of Encouragement for Prayer Intensive: 40 Days of Praying for the Lost and the Found. RM© 2017
Week 5: Words of Encouragement
Another powerful week of prayers has gone up to Our Heavenly Father on behalf of the people we are praying for. These prayers are like
incense to Him. The Holy Spirit has permission to move and reveal the truth of our Lord and Saviour, Christ Jesus, in the lives of those for whom
we are interceding. Jesus is covering these people with his love and is claiming his right over their lives, because of his victory on the cross.
Resurrection power has been released. Angels are being sent to do the will of the Lord God Almighty. Remember, that even though we might
not see evidence of this heavenly activity here in the lives of the people we are praying for, have faith that it is happening and will continue to
happen. These prayers are living prayers which will constantly be before the Father as incense until the day of fulfilment. How exciting is that?
Keep on praying, only 5 days to go!
Revelation 5:7-9
7 He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne. 8 And when he had taken
it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and
they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.
9 And they sang a new song, saying: ‘You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals,
because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God
persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.
In week 6, we can apply some of the prayers of Jesus and the apostles that are recorded in the New Testament.
What amazing prayers they are. Day 40 is Blessing Day, where we get to end our prayer challenge with the gift of
blessing all the people we have been praying for by using the Priestly Blessing found in Numbers 6. Please note that two
of the days have a part 1 and a part 2. Pray them as one day. Loving Father, may our prayers this week be pleasing to
you. Help us Holy Spirit to pray them out of the love Jesus has for us and from the love we have for Jesus. In doing this,
our prayers will be powerful and effective and will bring glory to you, our God. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our
Lord and Saviour, who is worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals. Amen.
