Disc CleaningUse a dry soft cloth to wipe the surface.If the disc is quite dirty, use a soft clothslightly moistured with isopropyl (rubbing)alcohol. Never use solvents such asbenzine, thinner or conventional recordcleaners as they may mar the surface ofthe disc.
Note:A disc may become somewhat scratched(although not enough to make it
unusable) depending on your handle itand conditions in the usage environment.Note these scratches are not anindication of any problem with the player.
Preparing New Discs with Rough SpotsA new disc may have rough edges on itsinside and outside edges. If a disc withrough edges is used, the proper settingwill not be performed and the player willnot play the disc. Therefore, remove therough edges in advance by using a ballpoint pen or pencil as shown on the right.To remove the rough edges, press theside of the pen or pencil against theinside and outside edges of the disc.

INSTALLATION
1. Remove the two transport screwsPress OPEN button on the back of the unit to eject the screen display from thebase at a little angle then turn the monitor upward to display the two screw. Andthen use the screwdriver to remove the two screws.
2. Push the monitor back into the monitor base unit until the screen engages withOPEN button. Then attach the brackets on both sides of unit with screws (M4x5),last install the unit with screws (M5x25). When fix the unit, you can slide thescrew (M5x25) to left side or right side to meet your needed position. In the figurebelow, select two holes among the positions that marked 1, 2, 3 and 4 to fix thebracket.

OPEN/CLOSE THE MONITOR AND ANGLE ADJUSTMENT
Opening the monitorPress the OPEN button on the back of the unit to eject the screen display from thebase at a little angle. Then you can easily turn the monitor upward.
Adjusting the angle of the monitorRotate the monitor counter-clockwise to let the front view of the monitor appear. Thenyou can also adjust the monitor left and right from the central viewing position at acertain angle range. Don’t rotate the monitor forcibly to avoid mechanical damage.
Note: When the monitor is in upright position to the base, you can adjust the monitorleft or right. Otherwise, the monitor may scrape the base surface when rotated.
Closing the MonitorRotate the monitor left and let the back of the monitor upward, then return the monitorto the central viewing position. Then push the monitor back into the monitor base unituntil the screen engages with OPEN button.

Preparing the Remote Control
Inserting the Batteries1. Open the battery compartment cover.2. Insert the new batteries. Make sure
that the positive and negative terminals of the batteries are orientedindicated.
3. Close the coverBattery: Two AAA size battery.
Using the Remote ControlFace the remote control towards theplayer front face IR mark (remote controlsignal receiver).Operation angle: About ± 30 degree ineach the direction of the front of the IRmark.
To prevent damage to the unit, be sureto follow the connection diagram(page 11).
Loading a DVD/VCD/CD Disc1. Turn the ignition on the accessory
position.2. Press the POWER button (1).3. Insert the disc with printed side facing
up into the disc slot (2).4. The player starts playback
automatically.
Ejecting a DiscPress (EJECT) button (3) to eject thedisc.

Stopping Play- Brief press the (Stop) button to stop
the unit playback, when press the (Play) button it can continuous normalplayback.
- Press (Stop) button twice, it will stopthe playback and go back to initial Track/Chapter.
Rapid Forward/Rapid ReversePress & during play. Each time thebutton is pressed, the speed of rapidforward/reverse changes according tothe disc as follow.

FOR DVD:Press the REPEAT button to select repeatmode as follow.

1. Continuously repeat at the currentchapter/track, when selected REP-ONE mode.
2. Select REP-ALL mode to continuouslyrepeat all chapter/track on the currentdisc.
3. When the player finish playback thecurrent disc last chapter/track, it willstop display the elapsed time. Whenselected REPEAT OFF mode, REP-ONE & REP-ALL disappear at thescreen display.
4. REPEAT feature not support VCD2.0(with PBC ON).
A-BA-B repeat allows a passage to berepeated continuously. Press A-B buttonat the start of the required passage, thenpress A-B button again at the end of thepassage. To revert to normal playing,press A-B button again. Each time thebutton pressed, the screen will displayas follows:

When select one mode, thecorresponding indicator will be illuminated.
SPEAKER ON/VOLUME CONTROLKNOBRotate the SPEAKER ON/VOLUMEknob clockwise or counter-clockwise toincrease or decrease the volume level ofthe speakers on the base of the unit.When rotate the knob in the direction ofvolume decreasing to the end, it will turnoff the speakers.
COLORSlide the COLOR knob upward ordownward to increase or decrease thecolor of the screen display.
BRIGHTNESSSlide the BRIGHTNESS knob upward ordownward to increase or decrease thescreen brightness.
CONTRASTSlide the CONTRAST knob upward ordownward to increase or decrease thecontrast lever of the screen display.
OPEN (Monitor Release Button)Press the OPEN button on the back ofthe unit to eject the screen display fromthe base at a little angle. Then you caneasily turn the display upward ordownward for good viewing.
Remote Sensor (IR)Point the remote handset to the remotesensor on the front panel. Receive thesignal from remote handset.
Turning the player on/offPress the (POWER) button on front ofpanel or on remote control to turn theplayer on or off.
Reset FunctionWhen the function buttons are operatedin error state, please unplug the DC 12VINPUT plug then put the plug in the socketagain.

FOR DVDPress GOTO button twice, the screen willdisplay the following message:
You can select the item you want towatch through TIME setting by usingnumeric buttons and ENTER key.
FOR CD/VCD (WITH PBC OFF):Press GOTO button once, the screen willdisplay the following message:
Use numeric buttons to input the timedirectly.
ZOOMAllows the picture to be increased ordecreased in size. Press ENTER totoggle among 1.5 scale, 2.0 scale and3.0 scale.
RANDOMPress RANDOM button, track selectionwill be made in random order. The displayscreen will show “SHUFFLE ON” on theright-top corner. Press RANDOM buttonagain, “SHUFFLE OFF” appears andrelease the mode.
PROGRAMIn stop mode, press PROGRAM button,the screen will display “PROGRAMP00:00”. For example: press numericbutton 4 and button, “PROGRAMP01:04” appears. It means track 4 will beplayed first.
