Allbladesareweighedandgroupedbyweight.Naturalwoodsvaryindensitywhichcouldcausethefantowobbleeventhoughallbladesareweight-matched. Thefollowingproceduresshouldeliminatemostofthewobble.Checkforwobbleaftereachstep.
1.Checkthatallbladesarescrewedfirmlyintobladeholders.2.Checkthatallbladeholdersaretightenedsecurelytomotor.3.Makesurethatcanopyandmountingbracketaretightenedsecurelytoceilingjoist.4.Mostfanwobbleproblemsarecausedwhenbladelevelsareunequal.Checkthislevelbyselectingapointontheceilingabovethetipofoneofthe blades.MeasurethisdistanceasshowninFigure1.Keepingmeasurewithin3mm,rotatethefanuntilthenextbladeispositionedformeasurement. Repeatforeachblade.Ifallbladelevelsarenotequal,youcanadjustbladelevelsbythefollowingprocedure.Toadjustabladetipdown,inserta washer(notsupplied)betweenthebladeandbladeholderatthescrewclosesttothemotor(Figure2).Toadjustabladetipup,insertwasher(not supplied)betweenthebladeandbladeholderatthetwoscrewsfarthestfromthemotor(Figure2).5.Ifbladewobbleisstillnoticeable,interchangingtwoadjacent(sidebyside)bladescanredistributetheweightandpossiblyresultinsmootheroperation.
