FROM OUR PRESIDENT - Marybeth RichardsonThe Quilt Show is over. I know everyone is relieved now that we have nodeadlines, but it also is a little sad leaving us with not much to look forwardto as a quilt group….for me at least.

The Show was fantastic and Barbara Pike and her team of helpers didanother wonderful job. The vendors all had a great time. The food wasfabulous! And, what can one say about the variety and quality of the quiltsin the show. Everywhere I looked people were laughing and yakking, having a great time. It was interesting to watch how serious the peoplelooked as they were trying to find a favorite quilt to vote for. My, oh,my….some took that task very seriously!!

Please come to the Sept meeting which will really be a YQF wrap upmeeting and not so much a Guild Meeting. We will start our meeting at5:00. Barbara Pike is furnishing dinner for all of us. It would be nice if youwould RSVP to me so I can give her a rough idea of how many will beattending.

This meeting will be to discuss theshow. If you have ideas forimprovement, changes or new ideasfor the next show, please come to themeeting. Everyone’s opinion and ideasare valuable to those in charge of thenext show.

RSVP Marybeth 754-5399 or marybethrch2017@gmail.com. If noanswer wait through all the beeps andleave a message. Thanks, Marybeth
