Painted Mountain is an art project about one of the most ancient geological formations on planet Earth, the table mountains, or Tepuis, in southeastern Venezuela, on the border to Brazil.
The photos are from the first exihibition of Painted Mountain @ the Octagon Gallery, the Octagon, Roosevelt Island, New York. Dec 7, 2013 – Jan 14, 2014.
The first painting, Islands In Time, from the series Painted Mountain, a donation to benefit the Hospitality Committee for the United Nations, sold instantly in the silent auction at the United Nations' Ambassador's Ball 2013, at the New York Athletic Club.
