Which part

am I? Am I a fruit, a root, a stem,

a leaf or a seed?

Pinapple

Pineapples start as a cluster of

purple flowers that fuse

together to develop into fruit.

Olives

An olive is the fruit of an olive

tree, according to California

Rare Fruit Growers. Most olive

trees start to bear fruit, or olives,

at about four years of age.

Capers

The plant is best known for the

flowers (capers), that can be

eaten and produce a

particular taste in recipes.

Onions

The onion plant has a fan of

hollow, bluish-green leaves. The

part under the ground, known

as roots or bulb is the part that

is usually eaten.

Carrots

The most commonly eaten part

of a carrot is the taproot, which

is orange in colour.

Pumpkin

A pumpkin is a part of a plant

that grows from a flower. If it

has seeds in it, then it is a fruit!

and they give our body a

supply of iron.

Saffron is a fragrant spice

derived from the red-orange

stigmas (female part) of flowers

red with bright white ribs, and it

grows a lot like a head of
