STAGE 1
The French in Normandy French Foundation Course.
French in Normandy is proud to offer students the opportunity to learn French and then go onto further study in France. Students take a French Language course at FIN before entering their chosen Institution equipped with the appropriate language skills for successful completion of the degree. Alternatively, students undertaking a programmes in English can take a French language course at FIN because it is a wonderful introduction to France and French living.
FIN has a great socio-cultural programme and a dedicated staff ready to help students adjust to a new country.
At French in Normady, the focus is on basic and progressive language acquisition. During the final three months students prepare for the DELF B2 or DALF C1 exam depending on their progress and also enjoy specific workshops to acquire some
specialised vocabulary, study skills. and knowledge of the French environment- in order for you to meet the expectations of university studies in France

Conditional Offer to a Degree Programme after a «French in Normandy Pathway».
When you have successfully completed a «Pathway Programmes», you may enter into a pre-selected and eligibility assessed degree programme without any further testing.

Guaranteed entry
Gain a conditional offer for a place upon suicccessful completion of your FIN/S for Study pathway course. All students who complete the FIN/S for Study pathway course and reach their required grades of a minimum Delf B2 are guranteed a place for their degree studies in France.
Our pathway programme : Key Facts
Target level : For entry into higher educational establishments in France students will need a minimum of a DELF B2 exam. French in Normandy will aim to help students achieve the DALF C1 examination.
Class size : French in Normandy has a maximum of 12 students per class. Lessons per week : 25 hours.
Course content :
· A full programme of language acquisition
· An introduction to French academic environment and learning methods
· Reading and writing skills : Note-taking, summarising, research and referencing, building academic arguments and structuring written work
· Listening and speaking skills : formulating questions, presentations and debating· Study skills programme : Research questions, note taking, essay writing and critical analysis

Option 1: If You know what you want to study and which school you want to apply for Sforstudy can advise, oversee and organise your application process, help with Cvs, letters etc.
Option 2: If you know what you want to study, but are not sure where you want will accept or if you are eligible /can study there , Sforstudy will advise and counsel you and offer full support all through the application process and help you to apply to your final choice of selected school/ university, help with Cvs, letters etc.
