COMMUNICATING THE GOSPEL

“…in our various settings for youth ministry, as Godbearers we will have some understanding and vocabulary to speak consistently and compellingly about God.”

–Kenda Creasy Dean and Ron Foster, The Godbearing Life

COMMUNICATING THE GOSPEL

“…the skillful communicator will make connections, build bridges and do double exegesis.”(The Godbearing Life, p. 178)

COMMUNICATING THE GOSPEL

COMMUNICATING THE GOSPEL

Practice!

1. Pick a commonly used word in church such as grace, righteousness, or sin.

2. Define the word in language a person new to faith could understand.

3. Find a story from scripture that defines the word.

4. Think of a story from your own life that gives definition to the word.
