In 2014, the State of Vaud University of Teacher Educa:on means:
-‐ 2.200 students -‐ 260 staff/trainers -‐ 128 partners schools -‐ 900 pedagogical/educa:onal prac::oners -‐ 9.000 professionals in con:nuing educa:on -‐ 111.000 pupils benefi:ng from the trained HEP teachers -‐ 48,8 mio CHF budget

“Following the suspension of nego0a0ons on Switzerland’s associa0on to Erasmus+, the Federal Council arrived to an interim solu0on for 2014 that gives priority to mobility ac0vi0es.“ The “Swiss-‐European Mobility Program” (SEMP) is the alternaDve mobility program agreed by all Swiss insDtuDons (including student and staff mobility).

• An international team: 3 students and 1 professor from HEP Vaud and 3 students and 1 professor of a partner institution from another country.

• Duration: one academic year
• Outcome: joint international research project in education
• Mobility schema: ü 2 face to face sessions: 1 week in autumn (at the partners institution) and 1
week in spring (in Lausanne) ü Online collaborations: in between the face to face sessions
• Components of a face to face week program defined by the hosting team: ü Research work ü Intercultural activities (school visits, participation in our courses, …) ü Social activities
• Accommodation: one to each other housing
• Purposes: soft skills (communication, critical thinking, decision making), ICT skills, comparing practices, rethinking the way of teaching, research reasoning
• Advantages: short, flexible, fits perfectly with our teacher education organization
