Introduction

We have never been abroad but we enjoy studying languages.

And we would know more about English – speaking countries.

Symbols • The symbol of Wales is a daffodil.

The symbol of England is a rose.

The symbol of Scotland is a thistle.

The symbol of Northern Ireland is a shamrock and a red

hand.

The American Bald Eagle is our national emblem. It symbolizeseach individual’ s independence andstrength.

The national symbol of Canada is the maple leaf.

Australia’s coat of arms-the official emblem of the Australian Government.

• The supporters are native Australian fauna-a kangaroo and an emu. A уellow -flowered native plant, wattle, also appears in the design.
