Point’s Rummy
This game is also known as 80 Points Rummy and is based on points. The points have pre-defined rupee value.
Number of Jokers
One printed joker from each deck.
Wild card joker that is picked at the beginning.
All the cards of this number are treated as jokers.
Fastest format of the Game
Point’s Rummy ends within a single deal and players play for points which have been assigned a pre determined but fixed value.
Winner
Player with zero points is the winner. The winner receives a rupee value of the point multiplied by the sum of all points accumulated by the opponents.
Making a Valid Show
One pure sequence without joker.
One impure sequence with a joker.
All other cards can be used to form sets and sequences.
Drop Options in the Game
First drop-20 points.
Middle drop-40 points.
Full count-80 points.
Each player can bring minimum 80*point value.
How is the Winner Decided?
He/She will have zero points, as all the cards in his/her hand are formed into sets and sequences making a valid show.
Other Options
In case of disconnection the player can re-join within three moves otherwise he gets middle drop points.
In case of a valid show within these three moves the disconnected player gets 40 points.
Prize Money
Prize money is equal to points of the opponents multiplied by Value of the points minus organizers fee.
