Poland is a medium size country in Europe . The Polish flag is white and red

EmblemThe national emblem is an eagle with a crown. There live 38 millions people .

WarsawThe capital of Poland is Warsaw ( 2 200 000 people). There are lot of historic buildings for example: the Old Town or The Royal Castle.

The second big cityAnother big city in Poland is Cracow (760 000 residents) , which is situated in the south part of the country. Cracow was the capital of Poland long time ago. There are 7 millions tourists every year who want to visit this beautiful and old town.

The third big cityThe third big city is Wroclaw (640 000 residents). There are many lakes and channels and Wroclaw is named polish Venice.

Many tourists like to eat bigos. It’s made of cabbage, meat and mushrooms. They like oscypek too. Oscypek is smoked cheese made in Tatra Mountains.
