850 farms have more than 500 ha and less than 1000 ha

Rural areas structureThe biggest farms are in the north – Warmia i Mazury

and in the west – Pomorze Zachodnie (West Pomerania) regions.

The avarage area is 23 – 30 ha in these regions.

The smalles farms are in central and southern Poland: from 3,90 ha to 7,5 ha.
