The Piarist Schools in Lowicz
The Piarist Primary, Lower and Upper-Secondary School in Lowicz
They are situated in Lowicz, a small town
in the center of Poland. They offer teaching at
primary, lower and upper-secondary levels. They are
catholic and were established in 1995.
Alltogether there are 500 students attending our schools and about
50 teachers.
St. Joseph Calasanz – the patron
The first Piarist school was founded in the XVII
century by St. Joseph Calasanz in Roma. He was
declared "Universal Patron of all the Christian
popular schools in the world".
The founder of our schools is also a Piarist
– Eugeniusz Śpiołek.
Our schools are the coolest in the area of Lowicz.
In the heart of our schools there is a chapel. We start
our each day praying together.
Close to the chapel there is a staffroom where teachers can relax after
exhausting lessons.
We own a well-equipped gym where football, volleyball and basketball
matches are fought off during breaks.
We have our own stage where we present all performances and
school ceremonies.
The smaller gym offers equipment for doing physical exercises and
playing table tennis.
