Richard HamiltonKnown for his powerful and inventive work that commented on the state of British postwar consumer culture, Hamilton was probably most famous for "Just What Is It That Makes Today's Homes So Different, So Appealing?“ from 1956.

Andy WarholWhen Warhol first exhibited Campbell’s Soup Cans, in 1962, each of the thirty-two canvases rested on a shelf mounted on the wall, like groceries in a store. The number of paintings corresponds to the varieties of soup then sold by the Campbell Soup Company.
