North Eveleigh Precinct’s site has been divided into two parts. Carriage Works is a working hub for practiti-oners and audiences of the small to medium arts sector which occupying a part of the site. The other part of the site is currently being abandoned. The site has a lot of potential and situated in one of the best loca-tions in Sydney. There is a missing connection that needed to be filled. A piece of puzzle needed to turn this piece of aband-oned site into festive hotspot. CINEMATHEQUE is the perfect contender for this site, this location and the existing art community in that area. This project will not only reinforce the existing art community, it will make the site more welcoming for the visitors by providing more area that can host bigger and better shows and exhibitions. Cinematheque will become one of many landmarks in the city of Sydney. It will become a social ground where people come together and celebrate. This is where the art comes alive and people sit back and enjoythe show. The Cinematheque building will be sculptured with the influence of the surrounding and its community.
