A B O U T

I am a student of Architecture and

Painting. On top of simplicity and

efficiency, I believe in the quality of

materiality that can bring people

together. As nature gives infinite

layers for people to explore, I be-

lieve an individual can and should

provide work of that depth. That’s

what I try to do with my work.

A project for Arch402, Furniture Studio. The goal of the chair is to find mini-mal area of support and still achieve comfort. The chair does this by having flexibility. The seat pads are connected to steel tubes through rubber shocks which let them move and the triangulated steel members also flex when weights are put on the chair. The photos are of the first mock-up, two weeks into the quarter. SPRING 2011
