COMPANY OVERVIEW• 1st Public sector refinery of INDIA.

• It was established in 1st jan of 1962.

• Head office is Delhi.

• Capacity of 1.0 million metric tones per year. • Total turn over in last two years is 2,71,378 crore.

REFINERY UNITS

The present configuration of the refinery consist of the following units:

CDU KTU DCU NSF LFU

MAJOR PRODUCTS

LPG.Motor spirit(petrol).ATF.Kerosene.High Speed Diesel.Light diesel oil.Raw petroleum coke.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS

EPABX TELEPHONE SYSTEM

Guwahati refinery equipped with 3 type EPABX:• IDX-1250 consisting 600 lines.• Psx-150 installed at sector-1 township of 100 line.• Definity of 200 lines installed at the refinery

equipped with the level DID facility.

EPABX uses WINTAP for maintance. EPABX requires 48v/40A Dc supply

DEFINITY EPABX TELEPHONE SYSTEM.

ARP SYSTEM

ARP is an emergency management system.ARP system is monitored by emergency

monitored software.It provides simultaneous ring to 24 telephone

subscribers at a time.It is one directional comunication.

DLC BROADBAND

What is DLC?It transfer digital information between CO and

subscriber.There are 7 dlc broadband connections are

provided through guwahati refinery.Fiber optics are used in connections.
