SURFACEAIDE™ XLAntimicrobialcanbeusedasafinalbacteriostaticfinishonthefollowingitemstoimpactbacteriostatic/fungistatic(mold and mildew) activity:

• Carpet, Silica Sand, Draperies, Upholstery, Furniture, Natural and Synthetic Fabrics, Book Covers, and Pictures.

• Interior Non-Food Contact Hard Surfaces Including: Floors and Floor Coverings, Walls and Wall Coverings, Ceilings, Ceramic Tile, Concrete, Chrome, Stainless Steel, Fiberglass, Vinyl, Porcelain, Wood, Plastic Surfaces & Composites, Glass Fixtures, Granite, Marble, and Aluminum.

Wearprotectiveeyewear (gogglesor faceshield)and rubbergloveswhenusing thisproduct.Dry treatedareasand articles such as clothing before use. Remove children and pets from treated area until completely dry. Clean surfaces prior to application.

SURFACEAIDE™XLAntimicrobial is to beapplied to organic and inorganic surfacesas supplied by brushing,dipping,padding,soaking,sprayinguntiladequatelywet.Afterapplyingtreatment,thesurfacemustbeallowedtodryattemperaturesfromambienttoamaximumof160°C(320°F)toeffectcompletecondensationofsilanolgroupsandtoremovewater,solventsand/ortracesofmethanolfromhydrolysis.Ifnecessary,reapplySURFACEAIDE™XLAntimicrobial every three months or when odor, staining and discoloration due to bacteria, mold stains, and mildew stains return.

For Pump Safety Spray Application:Usingpumpsprayer,sprayentirearea4-6inchesfromthesurfacemakingsure the surface is completely covered. Apply and then let stand until dry or let stand 3 minutes and wipe dry with clothorsponge.Ifspottingoccurs,wipewithmoistclothorsponge.Testforstainingandcolorfastnessoffabricsandcarpetsbytreatinganddryingasmall,concealedareapriortoapplication.Whentreatingcoarsersubstrates,moreSURFACEAIDE™XLAntimicrobialmayberequiredduetoabsorption.

For Spray Application:Applyandthenletstanduntildryorletstand3minutesandwipedrywithclothorsponge.Ifspottingoccurs,wipewithmoistclothorsponge.Testforstainingandcolor-fastnessoffabricsandcarpetsbytreatinganddryingasmall,concealedareapriortoapplication.Whentreatingcoarsersubstrates,moreSURFACEAIDE™XLAntimicrobialmayberequiredduetoabsorption.Drycarpetareasandsurfacesbeforere-entryanddryarticlesbeforeuse.

For Dipping/Soaking Application:Useappropriatesizedwashbasinortubfordipping/soakingtheitemyouaretreating.UseenoughSURFACEAIDE™XLAntimicrobialsolutiontocompletelysubmergeitem.Completelysubmergeiteminsolutionfor3minutes.Removeitemanddry.Testforstainingandcolor-fastnessoffabricsbytreatinganddryingasmall,concealedareapriortoapplication.Donotreusesolutionafterdipping/soaking.Thesubstratecanbedriedatroomtemperaturesorattemperaturestoamaximumof160°C(320°F).
