Custom Gear Division
Our custom gear division provides turnkey or complete-
to-print manufacturing, assembly, and
inventory-management solutions. Products include spur,
ring, pump, helical, bevel and compound gears; geared
or splined shafts, couplings and carriers; and precision
machined parts and complete mechanical assemblies.
Gear Service Division
Our gear service division provides individual gear and
spline manufacturing solutions on customer-furnished
components. These include hobbing, shaping, internal
and external grinding, bevel gear cutting and grinding,
curvic coupling grinding and highly specialized solutions
for flight-critical aircraft components.

defense industry. By 1992, the company had become one of the largest privately owned
gear manufacturers on the West Coast. Over the past two decades, we've continued to

Our engineering staff has over 50 years of combined
experience in gear manufacturing. Using the latest
versions of AutoCAD, SolidWorks and MasterCam, they
craft detailed engineering process plans to meet your
exacting part tolerances.
Supply chain management
Over the years, we've developed the vital infrastructure
to provide you with turnkey manufacturing solutions. This
includes partnerships with the leading, NADCAP-
approved companies that provide heat-treating; shot
peen, anodize, coating, plating and painting; and non-
destructive testing.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
We use Visual Manufacturing ERP by Infor to manage the
production of your parts from concept to delivery. This
dynamic foundation ensures you're getting maximum
performance and value from a lean, metrics-driven
company.
Value-added services
In producing your critical parts, we become integral
to your manufacturing process. To make the interface
seamless, we provide many value-added services
such as LTA contracts, JIT delivery and DFC
manufacturing engineering consulting.

journeymen who've been with Rubicon Gear for over

outfitted with the latest CNC machine tools for turning,
milling, hobbing and shaping; cylindrical grinding; gear
and spline grinding; and bevel and curvic coupling
grinding.
Inspection capabilities
The precision and quality of all your components and
assemblies are verified using state-of-the-art CMM
inspection tools including a Zeiss CMM with GearPro
Software capable of 1.6-micron accuracy.
