Current Layout with five braces in place to control the high vibrations on the piping system as well as the

support structure:

Figure 1: Mechanical Model

Figure 2: Mechanical Model

Braces used to control the high

vibrations at the corners of the loop

in the discharge piping system (at the

elbows)

This brace used to control the high

vibrations on the support structure.

Braces used to control the high

vibrations at the corners of the loop

in the discharge piping system (at the

elbows)

The brace used to control the high

vibrations on the support structure.

Results for the current layout:

Vibrations exceed the guideline by 28% at the elbows shown below.

Vibrations exceed the guideline by 13% at the elbow shown below.

Vibrations exceed the guideline by 36% at the elbow shown below.

High vibrations on the support structure and the associated piping systems:

Modified Layout (removing the loop in the discharge piping system):

No elevated piping in the discharge

piping system (no loop)

Pipe support is required after the

flange set on both sides.

Vibration level is acceptable in the discharge piping system by modifying the layout.

Note there are still high vibrations on the support structure as well as the associated piping system. We

are still working on that to find a solution to control the high vibrations.
