What is Web 1.0 and Web 2.0?
The term web 1.0 refers to the first version of the web,
sometimes also known as the informational web. It
consisted on largely of static webpages with little room
for real interactivity.

Web 2.0 is a revolutionary view of the Internet and the
social and business uses of advanced technologies rather
than the technical aspects of those technologies. It allows
users to interact and collaborate with each other in a social
media dialogue.

and Internet?
World Wide Web is a system of internet servers that support
specially formatted documents. The documents are formatted in
HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) that supports links to other
documents, as well as graphics, audio, and video files.

Adventages
CALL encourages students to develop a non sequential reading
habit.
It allows users to make their own decisions to develop a selective
and critical reading habits.
It makes students to be able to collaborate in problem solving
which in itself is considered to be good skill acquire. Students who miss the class, still have the opportunity to learn in
the CALL program.

It is considered to be much less handy.
Most student do not posses their own computer
at home, so they can not access to CALL
program all time.
Reading a text, especially the long ones, on the
screen is slower, more difficult and tiring.

It is that it has huge potentials in making thelearning of a second language easier and more
accessible. It is since it stimulates discussion,
writing or critical thinking because languageskills are easily integrated through multimedia.
