The International Institute of Business Analysis is an international non-profit association for business analysis professionals.

Its international administrative office is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The Definition Works as a liaison among

stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information and information systems

Understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals

IIBA-SA is a s21 company (not-for-gain) registered in SA Business model is National Chapter with central council, and

events committees operating in regions where they can best serve members

Work started 2006, formally chartered October 2007 Events committees in Johannesburg & Cape Town Mission

Further the aims of the IIBA Represent interests of local BA’s in respect of international IIBA

goals Offer local value for chapter BA’s Promote South African BA capability on the global stage

The Chapter Council Purpose

The purpose of the Chapter Council is to develop standards, processes, administrative infrastructure, and provide a forum for sharing information between the chapters and with the Executive IIBA board.

Objectives Develop policies and procedures for the formation and daily

management of the chapters Provide a resource for the Chapters to ask questions and share

information Be a vehicle for better communication between the IIBA International

and the local chapters
