Student Emailforgotten password

Please note that you cannot use this facility if you haven’t already registered your mobile phone number with your WIT student email account.

Step 1- Enter you email address, e.g. 1234567@mail.wit.ie and click Next. When you are prompted for your password click Need Help.

Step 2 - Click I don’t know my password and the option will expand. Enter your email address and then click Continue. 

Step 3 - Enter the characters in the box and click Continue. If you enter the characters incorrectly, you will be presented with another set of characters to try. 

Step 4 - When you are prompted to enter the last password you remember, do not enter any password and click I don’t know.

Step 5 - Choose a text Message and click Continue.

Step 6 - Enter the code that was sent to your mobile phone and click Continue.

Step 7 - You will now be prompted to enter your new password. Once you have typed in your new password and confirmed it, click Change Password.

You have now successfully changed your WIT student email password. Please note that the password should be a minimum of 9 characters and is case sensitive.
