Training

Omni has available to its clients, training aimed for Organizational growth, through the target audience being; Sorters: • Short sharp focussed sessions held with staff who are responsible for removing of

waste from common areas. • This target group, generally comprises of cleaning and kitchen staff. • Primary objective, ‘sorters’ are educated on different types of waste, recyclable and

non-recyclable items, how to identify waste items, and sort them into recyclable bins.

Waste Awareness: • Held with staff who operate in various roles within the organization. • ‘Awareness’ may be achieved in a number of ways, such as the e-mailers mentioned

earlier, to Team Building activities which could serve a dual purpose. • Sustainability however would be achieved through implementation of Green Teams.

Team Building

The value of laughter enables us to approach serious situations in a way that we may not have under normal circumstances …

• “GARB”, is a distinctive form of clothing/dress.

• In the context of Environmental Awareness, we look at creating a visual image of how our natural environment is affected…

• The pictures displayed has been taken, during a Green Day hosted by one of our clients on the 1st September. They also commemorated their 10th Birthday!

Green Teams

• Green Teams are dedicated groups of employees, regardless of operational role or organizational level.

• They take responsibility for driving the implementation of sustainable Green operations within the organization.

• Green teams range from the informal - a few employees working together to increase recycling opportunities for themselves and their community, to

• Formal - a group who specifically volunteer to promote and foster sustainable operations that reduce an organizations environmental footprint.
