WORKING WITH PERSAM TRANSFER FILES

The EFSA Guidance Document for predicting environmental concentrations in soil

◼ PELMO is able to read all information provided in the PERSAM Transfer File (PT File)

◼ PT Files must be located in a subdirectory called “PERSAM_TRANSFER”

◼ Several PT Files can be gathered in a project

◼ After clicking at the PECsoil flag a form is loaded where all PERSAM projects in the folder PERSAM_TRANSFER can be selected

◼ The respective PT-Files of the project are automatically loaded into the list box below.

◼ Detailed Information about the selected PF-File is summarised in the right part of the form.

◼ Yellow fields contain additional information not provided by PERSAM. They can be directly entered on the form.

◼ Before running the model a PELMO-PSM-file has to be created by clicking at the button “create PSM-File”

◼ The PSM-file can then be further edited if necessary.

◼ The button “Run Tier 3A” launches the simulation.

◼ Alternatively, a single (or all) simulations can be marked for batch and later started.

◼ After the simulation(s) the results can be evaluated.

◼ In the first table the maximum concentrations are presented when the substance is applied regularly

◼ In the second table the actual concentrations after the last application are summarised
