Keep the design basic and simple Choose a font that is easy to read Carefully select font sizes for headers and text Decorate scarcely but well Do not let the slide design restrict your

message

BE CONSISTENT

Use the same font and sizes on all slides Match colors throughout presentation Use contrast

White background with black text is best Make sure color choices are easy on the eyes

KISS

Keep it straight and simple Keywords only No sentences Never read your slides…. Talk freely

Use the 8 by 8 rule No more than 8 words per line No more than 8 lines per slide

ADDING A HYPERLINK

Create a hyperlink to a page or file on the Web In Normal view, select the text or the object that you

want to use as a hyperlink. On the Insert tab, in the Links group, click Hyperlink. Under Link to, click Existing File or Web Page, and

then click Browse the Web . Locate and select the page or file that you want to link to,

and then click OK.
