This is a basic overview of the nodes and how they’re used by PF

Query Query (DME)(DME)

Retrieve data from Lawson tables by entering search parameters If you’ve used MS Add-Ins, the concept is the same

Transaction Transaction (AGS)(AGS)

Perform updates to Lawson through a call to a form – edit checks applyIf you’ve used MS Add-Ins, the concept is the same

API BuilderAPI Builder

Used to build out your Query or AGS/Transaction node syntax

UserActionUserAction

Allows your users to interact with the flow through the Portal Inbasket

EmailEmail

Another way to interact with users is to send them an email

Start Start (Define your variables)(Define your variables)

Define variables to be used throughout the lifecycle of your flow

AssignAssign

Assign values to the variables you defined – you can change them as needed

AssignAssign

You can also create a JavaScript expression within the Assign node

MsgBuilderMsgBuilder

Like the Assign node, except you build upon instead of overwrite your variable

ResourceQueryResourceQuery

Perform look ups against Lawson Security to retrieve user information

Resource UpdateResource Update

Perform updates to user’s Lawson Security settings

BranchBranch

Based upon criteria entered, you can redirect your flow to different nodes

WorkObjectWorkObject

Allows you to trigger another ProcessFlow Service from within your current flow
