Raju Bhinge – CEO, Tata Strategic Management Group

Mr. Bhinge started his career with the Tata Group in the Tata Administrative Service in 1975,and since then has held cross-functional portfolios across Finance, Operations and planningin senior management roles. He also established the Telecom Equipment business of Nelco.Mr. Bhinge authored the Strategic Plan for Tata Industries Ltd. in 1991 and was responsible

for its implementation. He held a key role in JV planning and negotiations with AT&T, BellCanada, Liebert, ALCAN, on behalf of Tata Industries. He has conceptualized andestablished Tata Strategic Management Group (TSMG), the largest Indian ownedmanagement consulting firm. At Tata Strategic, Mr. Bhinge specializes in StrategyFormulation, Portfolio Review and Public Policy. Mr. Bhinge also serves on the Board ofDirectors of several companies viz. Tata Autocomp Systems Ltd, Nelco Ltd, Infiniti RetailLtd, Tata Johnson Controls Automotive Ltd and Computational Research Laboratories PvtLtd.

K.Raman – Practice Head, Infocomm, Media & Technology

He joined Tata Strategic Management Group in 2006 with 11 years of industry experienceacross Retail & Telecom. He brings about deep insights through a blend of consulting andindustry experience. He has worked with leading telecom technology and educationcompanies in India and abroad helping them address key business issues. He specializes inthe areas of strategy formulation and business process improvement. He has also beenclosely involved with investors looking to invest in the technology and education sectors. Inaddition he has also worked closely with non-government entities promoting corporateengagement in the implementation of Right to Education Act. Prior to joining Tata Strategic,he held key positions in companies like Bharti Airtel & Arvind Mills. His previousassignment was with Airtel (Broadband & Telecom Services) as the Circle Head ofMarketing. He was instrumental in creating and growing the Broadband access market inTamil Nadu.

Pankaj Gupta - Practice Head, Consumer & Retail

Pankaj Gupta is the at Tata Strategic Management Group, the largest Indian ownedmanagement consulting firm in South Asia. Pankaj has an experience of 17 years in industryand consulting. His areas of specialization include Entry, Growth and Turnaround Strategy

Formulation and Performance Improvement in the Retail, FMCG and Consumer Durablessectors. Pankaj joined the Tata Strategic Management Group in 2001 and has held variouspositions within the firm. He established the Consumer and Retail practice at Tata StrategicManagement Group in 2005. He has led numerous assignments with clients in India, SriLanka and Saudi Arabia. He has played a pivotal role in the establishment of Infiniti RetailLtd. Pankaj is also Director, Infiniti Retail Limited. Prior to joining Tata Strategic, he workedwith Asian Paints and Satyam Infoway where he held positions in institutional sales,channel sales and distribution. He was the co-chairman of the Agri-Business Committee ofthe Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry between 2006 and 2008.

Susnato Sen - Practice Head, Infrastructure

Susnato earned his Master’s Degree in Economics from Tufts University, Massachusetts in1991. He has over 15 years of experience in consulting. His area of specialization is StrategyFormulation including Growth Strategy, Business Due Diligence, Business Planning and

Pre-feasibility Studies as well as Performance Improvement for projects in the Infrastructureand the Real Estate sectors. Susnato joined the Tata Strategic Management Group in 2006and has been responsible for setting up the Infrastructure practice of the organization. Hehas led a large number of assignments with clients in India, Belgium, UAE and Sultanate ofOman. Prior to joining Tata Strategic, he worked with Federation of Indian Chambers ofCommerce and Industry (FICCI) as Team Leader – Infrastructure and Private Sector LiaisonOfficer to the World Bank Group in India. He has also been employed with ConsultingEngineering Services and Lehman Brothers.
