Progress Vs Achievement Test
Introduction
• Test is to intend to establish the quality, performance or reliability of something special before it is taken into practice.
Test is a systematic procedure for observing persons and describing them with either a numerical scale or category system. Thus they may give either a qualitative or quantitative information.

Progressive Test
Progressive Test (PT ) is usually a kind of test which is taken in informal setting and used to measure how much gain or growth students make in a period of time
Examples of PT
1. Year to year test

Achievement Test
Achievement Test (AT) is taken in more formal setting used to measure students’ performance at a single point of time and how well those students perform against a level.
