The objectives of the project (1)

TRAINERS Train 200 professionals of the construction sector to

become efficient trainers in 10 professions in the field Provide them adequate training tools Train them through « learning by doing » To make them able to provide a training set-up based

on « alternance » of theoritical and practical teaching/learning

Deliver them a Certificate of « Trainer in the construction sector » using the Europass framework

From July 2OO8 August 2009

TRAINEES Train 3000 trainees in 10 professions of the

construction sector A training based on theory and practicing 6 months in a training centre 6 months « on-job » in companies Deliver them a certification based on the French

vocational certificates (1st level of qualification – CAP – BEP) and using the Europass

TOOLS (elaborated by French team) Create adapted training tools for the training of

the trainers Upgrading their technical skills in adequacy with the

French standards Improving their ability to transfere their knowledge

and kwow-how Create adapted tools for the training of the

Implementation of the training

Trainers 6 weeks / job 4 weeks / pedagogy

Training the Trainers

by professional Instructors from France that concentrated on the following: Pedagogy: How to handle training, how to follow-up

individualized learning and to fit the proper corrective measures

Safety & Security: Major emphasis was to make sure that they follow the Intended of Security Safety of the professions

Life long follow-up: By the end of the project the Trainers would have acquired the skills to prepare on the their own additional new material as the need arises.

Individualized follow up Positive pedagogy, with the aim that most of

the trainees succeed : several chances to get the diploma

230 trainers in the field of construction trades,

validated by French inspectors from the french ministry of education, on the same criteria as the French trainers

Previsted : 5 200 trainees

Around 12 500 trainees so far

CO-validated by French inspectors from the French ministry of education, and the NET
