The use of slogans, images, and other media to

Large organizations
Advertising: “I’m LOVIN’ it” –McDonald’s
And especially the government
“Keep Calm and Carry On” was a British WWII
slogan to keep riots from breaking out when
Germany was bombing London on a daily basis.

Buying every CoD game cuz our friends have it.
Acting and dressing older because of the music and movies we encounter.
Buy things that other people like.
Eat places that others go to.
This works on a larger scale than we realize Entire countries rely on propaganda (also called
brainwashing) to get people to follow directions, vote, sign up for the army, go to war, pay their taxes, go to church, go to school, and do just about everything that is ”important”
