Event is the social opportunity forstaff of Great Eastern and theirfamily to gather and connecttogether. It will increase closedconnection between BOM – staff,staff –staff and show the meaningfulmessage of Great Eastern: “ We arenot only the insurance company, weare the company for LIFE”

LIFE can not exist without LOVE, andLOVE should be CONNECT toincrease much value.

Introduction• Event: Annual Staff party for Great Eastern’s staff &

family

• Number of guest: approximately 240 including staff members and their families

• Time: 3PM – 9PM, 14/06/2014

• Venue: Van Thanh Park

- Van Thanh Park (BinhThanh Dist): natural space,not too far from center ofHCM city, the capacity ofrestaurant is suitable.

There are five main parts in the event

Welcome Guest

The guests join in face painting activity with cute color and design, then will take photos together. This will make them enjoy the party, since everyone having fun.

• The guests then gather together as teams, prepare for the big games. Each team has their own uniform with Great Eastern logo printed on. When playing games, team members will have proper support from Support team, in order to maintain the fun, connecting atmosphere with each other.

Children and elders can take a rest between two game activites at the snack bar.

Games ActivitiesParty Activities are designed for specific groups of guests, members of families to make sure each guest has fun and good impression on the staff party.

The games will connect not only the staff butalso their families together, so that every onehave fun and relaxing. Through the activity, eachof them will feel the spirit of Great Eastern : “Weare not only the insurance company, we are thecompany for LIFE”, and appreciate the BOM’ scare for them.

The guests join in 5 teams with uniform, in different colors, each T-shirt has the Great Eastern logo printed on.

Five teams will compete in 5 games, get points scored through each round. In the end, the team with the highest points will win. Games including:

Great Eastern Dance

• Everyone dance together on the fun Macarena song to warm up and connect with each other before starting games. The team with the best performance of dance will win

The Magic pants

• The children and elders décor the pants with sparkle, stickers, buttons … when they finished, the pants will be demonstrated and get scored.

• After that, the adult will have the Pants race. One put the pants on then run to the spot. At the spot, he takes the pants out and give it to the other one. This one will put the pants on then continue the race. The fastest team wins.

• This game will connect the members of the family, the children can release their creativity, and learn how to team work with the others. The elders can take part in too.

The Lost island

Team members gathering together, stand in one big piece of paper. Then using foot only, they have to flip and fold the paper, in the mean time they are not allowed to step outside the paper. The team with the smallest paper wins. This is quite a tricky game, requires the understanding, trust, help and team work on the team. After playing this game, the team will feel the connection with each other.

The Secret code

• The MC has a list of meaningless letters. Teams have to find the meaningful sentences/phases in which letters stand for. The more sentences/phases teams create , the higher number of points teams get. Team getting the highest score win.

• The hidden message of game: be creative to de-code insight need of people/potential customers

The Gossip

• Each team has a message. On one minute, one member have to remember all the message, and whisper that to the net one. The next one whispers to the next, and so on. The team with highest accuracy of remembering will get the highest score. This game will build up the listening & understanding skill between team members.

The All in one family• Teams gathering in circles

with small duo-team with roles: A –B (dad/kid, mom/kid). All will sing the song “Ca nha thuong nhau”. When the lyric stops at “A thuong B”, A will piggy back B. A & B can exchange the role.

• The hidden meaning of game: remind teams about meaning of private family as well as the GE family: “We smile and happy when we are closed”

Gala Dinner

- Gala dinner will start with speech of BOM

Be continued with Great Eastern Idols with music/dance performance of candidates as staffs of company. The acceptable performance of candidate have to be supported by family memners or co-workers. BOM will be Jury council and choose the best performance for IDOL award.

Awards

- At the end of gala dinner, BOM will give award to win teams in games and GE Idol

Moment of event

When event ends, pictures of family of staff in template of Great Eastern will be sent to staff as gift and recall of memorable event.

The event area is mostly decorated with colorful balloons, which make the event fun and interesting. The main color is red – color of Great Eastern logo
