1. Prepare files for upload

2. Add/drag & drop files for upload

3. Add details:File titles and description, subject (Language), BBFC rating, etc.Module code, keywords (languages present and genres)Keywords populate related categories automatically (e.g. film for French as Subject will populate Italian and Spanish categories automatically if those keywords are present)All details can be added and edited after upload

4. Upload files and wait for conversion queue to finishJob done!

5. Edit or add further details, manage subtitles, create share options, populate extra categories, etc.

Usage data can easily be generated

Features of the AV system

• Video on demand – (internal Netflix™ )

• Recording from off-air sources either audio or visual

• “Open” or “closed” channels – dependent on intended audience

• Search engines and tagging for key words etc.

• Subtitles - to be displayed or not

• Editing – allow chapters to be inserted or cuts to be made

• Descriptions and notes – can be done at “upload” stage or any time after

• Live streaming – this allows “questionable” copyright to be streamed without storage

• Live broadcast – lectures or events

• Usage and feedback data

• Live TV

Operations and pedagogical features

• Channel allocation for personnel or for subject and content

• “Open” or “closed” channels

• Ability to “post” additional data files making the system a multi-media learning platform

• Editing and insertion of chapters relevant to teaching

• Ability of individuals to play/pause/rewind independently

• Campus wide desk-top viewing
