Common Questions regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19):
How does the virus spread? Originally the virus originated in animals, but is now spreading person-to-person. It is unclear how the virus is spreading between people, however, other coro-naviruses spread via respiratory droplets when someone coughs or sneezes.
How can we prevent the Coronavirus? Preven-tion is the same as with any respiratory illness - wash your hands with soap & water for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose, & mouth with unwashed hands, avoid close contact with people who are sick, stay home when you are sick, cover your cough & sneeze and clean and disinfect frequently touched objects & surfac-es.
Where can we get more information? Addition-al information can be found on the CDC website or at the Maryland Department of Health website.

2020 Race for Education
We NEED sponsor labels!! 62% of students in the entire school have returned sponsor labels. This is one of our biggest fundraisers
and we need your help to make it successful!! This year our goal is to raise $30,000 for our school! If each student turns in at least
10 sponsor labels, we are sure to reach our goal! We have a few different incentives for our students this year!
Each student that turns in 10 or more sponsor address labels will receive a DRESS DOWN PASS!
The student who raises the most money in the school will receive a $50 Five Below gift card and the student who raises the
second highest amount will receive a $25 Five Below gift card!
The homeroom that raises the most money will receive a PIZZA PARTY!!
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Kim Thayer at kthayer@stmstc.org.
Thank you for your support!! We couldn’t do it without you!!
