When "you" follows a word ending in the letter "t", you sometimes will hear the sound of the "y" become a "ch": what + you = "whatchu". Got + you = "gotchu". Don't + you = "dontchu". Origin: Originally "beat box" meant an electronic drum machine of the sort used to create percussive sounds in rap and hip-hop music.
