The rapid evolution of
technology
Γιάννης Παπαδημητρίου Γ5Project in English 20172nd Experimental High School of Athens
As it is well-known, human technology in the past century has evolved more than it has in the past few thousand years, and most machines, tools, etc have evolved accordingly.

Most of these technological advances concern objects that we use quite frequently in our lives, and take them for granted (e.g.: the car)

While other objects have evolved greatly and are very widely used in scientific research
(e.g.: hazmat suit)

Another fine example of tools used in scientific research is the microscope, the first of which originates from the 18th century.

Other various machines that have evolved greatly during the anthropocene include:

Entertainment (not a machine, but a noteworthy change)

As you can tell, most of these technological advances have happened during the past century (1900-2000)

This rapid advance of technology can
both harm and benefit us depending
on how we use it
